Hey!

I have explored many paths, including studio art, computer science, animation, and entrepreneurship. I am now working to combine my skills from these experiences to pursue a career in Social Work.

After overcoming many difficult years with mental illness, I yearn to make a difference in the lives of individuals with similar challenges. My unique perspective on their struggles will make me well suited for a life as a social worker.

I am incredibly empathetic and compassionate and work best with others. My favorite pastime is engaging in meaningful conversation that questions my perspective. I enjoy challenging others as well as myself.

I have loved working in art because it has allowed me to connect with my experiences and express myself. However, at this point in my life, I desire more connection and to use my skills and point of view to help the world around me.

After receiving my MSW, I dream of opening a non-profit mental health center in a medically underserved community. I have been fortunate to receive the treatment I did, and I understand that such treatment is often inaccessible. I have a vision for the project, but I need to learn more to succeed.
